This piece was commissioned by M & J for there Lounge. They love spring time, particularly the bluebell which carpet the floor of the local woodland and which they have many happy memories.

“Inspired by local woods and a smaller painting by Maria, we commissioned this to go in a newly decorated room. Maria discussed scale, intensity, colours, etc, with reference to location, lighting and background colour and we are delighted with the finished product, which completes the room, adds ambience and is admired by many.”
